Gobabeb staff can provide informative nature walks through three distinct ecosystems highlighting Namib biodiversity. We also provide tours of the research station, which include demonstrations of sustainable technologies. Or you can guide yourself through our well-marked self-guided trail.

In the late afternoon, ask to go on a sundowner, a favorite among guests. Centre staff drive you or guide you on a walk up one of the stunning dunes, from which you can enjoy a breathtaking sunset and a well-earned drink.

Upon request, our expert staff can provide presentations on desert ecology, climatology and Namib geology.

Gobabeb also has a swimming pool and volleyball/tennis court.
