Max Planck Institute very happy with Gobabeb’s support in greenhouse gas project

“I built the first building in Gobabeb” – a Gobabeb pioneer discovered!

The GRTC carried out a research project on on-farm conservation of plant genetic resources for food and agriculture (PGRFA) in the northern cropping regions of Namibia to investigate the hypothesis that farmers do not conserve seeds.

Welwitschia at the Second Annual LaRSSA Conference

Titus Shuuya, a Master in Natural Resources Management student attended the Second Annual Land Rehabilitation Society of Southern Africa, which was held as from 9 – 12 September 2014 in Muldersdrift, Gauteng. The conference was focusing on land rehabilitation, with specific emphasis on successes and failures.
